IMPORTANT NOTICE for 10 month employees - 2012 Insurance Deductions
Due to an upgrade with our payroll system, effective January 1, 2012, the regular monthly insurance deductions on your paycheck include the pro-rated amount needed for the summer months.
There have been no changes to the way the deductions are being taken from January 1 to June 30.
The only change is in the way the deduction appears on your paycheck.
In the past, the summer deductions were listed as a separate item under "summer deposit" so you would see two medical rows, one for your regular monthly deduction and one for summer deposit. Beginning 1/1/2012, you will see one row that includes both the regular and the summer deposit medical deductions.
Deductions are taken as follows:
Lag employee: Summer deposit include July, August and September
Current employee: Summer deposit includes July and August • Insurance rates have increased for the 2012 calendar year.
The 1/13/2012 payroll data is NOW available for viewing.
